The flagship location of the Jardan Furniture Store is a premier destination for anyone looking for an eclectic mix of well-designed interiors. Its iconic cool blue store is painted inside and out with Bauwerk Limewash paint.
We love our collaboration with Jardan, mixing up our paint with our shared environmentally sustainable and focused products. Their stores are less like a traditional furniture showroom and more a representation of their design philosophy taking inspiration from local Australian environments. With the variety of different rooms in the space, they were able to let their wares influence the colour palette, ranging from soft and cool to more adventurous colours like leek and rhubarb.
An iconic backdrop with a vibrant cool blue exterior
To express the dynamic nature of this business the owners chose 'Winter Morning', a vibrant cool blue limewash finish for the exterior. The front of the building received a special thin coat of render to create an optimal surface for the application of Bauwerk Limewash. As the side walls of the store were bare brick, they could be painted directly with two coats of the same colour. The result is an iconic and memorable location.
