When the historic St Mary's Cathedral in the centre of Perth underwent its multi-million dollar renovation, it was very important to blend the old with the new seamlessly. Bauwerk paints were a natural choice, both literally and figuratively!

We worked with the architects and builders to provide a perfect match to the original stone. While the oldest parts of the building are from 1865, they blend seamlessly with the new extensions and additions. To create the look of stone on the exterior, three coats of Bauwerk limewash was used in colours 'Wheat' and 'Sandalwood'. Bauwerk limewash paint was also used throughout the interior, with two coats of colour 'Eggshell'. No undercoat or sealer was required.
